Uses :

Aluminium sulphate is best known for the treatment of turbid water by "floc" formation. These "flocs" settle readily and due to their highly adsorptive nature, remove colorants and other contaminants

Other Uses

In the paper industry- with resin to improve the wettable properties, making the paper suitable for further processing.

In the purifying of effluents- for the removal of phosphate from sewage and industrial effluents.

In process water treatment- particularly for silica removal.

In fertilizers- In the manufacture of top dressing fertilizers and as an additive to provide a trace source of aluminium.
